Caterpillar’s Roadshow 2019 in Bulgaria19 June 2019
For the second consecutive year, Eltrak Bulgaria hosts the European tour of Caterpillar on the occasion of the introduction of the next generation of Cat excavators and mini excavators. From 13th to 17th June, Roadshow 2019 was held, bringing together over 280 guests in the cities of Varna, Stara Zagora and Sofia. This year special participation in the event was taken by Bulavto - an official dealer of Ford Trucks for Bulgaria.
All events began with a tour of a specially prepared truck Caterpillar demo truck, where product managers from Eltrak Bulgaria presented the novelties, innovative technologies in the new Cat excavators in the 20, 30 and 36 tonne class, accompanied by interactive games. Visitors also had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of new mini-excavators, such as joystick control and reduced maintenance costs.
Also, the company's guests were able to look at many of the new machines and technologies displayed in Eltrak Bulgaria's modern commercial and service centers, some of which CAT diesel and gas generators up to 1500kWe, used Caterpillar equipment with warranty, some available models of machines for rent, the latest GC series wheel loaders and excavators. For all the curious guests the hosts had planned special walks at the service and storage facilities of Eltrak Bulgaria.
Visitors could also look inside the new Ford Trucks F-MAX, the truck of the year, the 3-axle Ford 3542D tipping truck and the FORD 4142D 4-axle dumper.
The main attraction of events has become the special game with Cat mini excavator. Quite a lot of players have won their strength, speed and precision, and the winners have gone with great prizes.
Demonstration of the Cat 320 and 320GC excavator in working conditions was the most attractive thing of the events in Sofia and Stara Zagora. The company's customers have been able to see “live" part of the innovative technologies embedded in the basic model of a new generation excavator, such as the E-fence machine's limitation system, the Cat Grade 2D technology, operator efficiency and Cat Payload system. The demonstration also involved a four-wheel tipper FORD 4142D with an Ecotorq engine with a capacity of 12.7 liters and 420 hp, corresponding to the levels of emissions in the Euro 6. At the end of the demo was shown in action one of the best-selling products of the manufacturer MB Crusher - the BF90.3 S4 crushing bucket.
A lottery was held for the final of the events, where several lucky ones went with a Cat smartphone, barbecues, work shoes, machine models, and Bulavoto promotional gifts.
