Backhoe Loaders

The F Series backhoe loaders of Caterpillar delivers improved performance, enhanced visibility and serviceability and a range of engines to meet applicable emission standards. Single tilt and parallel arms boost front loader performance and an optional lock-up torque converter contributes to lower fuel consumption, Full Autoshift is now available on the 428F and boosted brakes are now standard on all models.

A new lock-up torque converter is available as an option on all Autoshift models, reducing fuel consumption and increasing average road speeds to boost productivity. The full Autoshift transmissions will now be available on the 428F, in place of the previous powershift transmission from the 428E. The 432F also boasts a revised torque converter, offering improved loading and road performance. New loader arms for both the single tilt and the parallel lift models increase maximum hinge-pin height and maximum dump height by up to 3 percent, and lift capacity by as much as 15 percent. In addition, loader changes result in improved material retention for the parallel lift arms models. The new sloping engine hood design enhances operator visibility to the work tool.
