2000 Series
The Perkins 2000 Series is made up of the 2200, 2500 and 2800 series. The family consists of 13, 15 and 18 litre, inline 6 cylinder turbocharged, air-to-air charge-cooled diesel engines, providing prime and standby power from 350-700 kVA at 1500 rpm, and 320-600 kWe at 1800 rpm. These engines, which feature mechanically operated unit injectors with advanced electronic control, offer exceptional low fuel consumption, low emissions and excellent service access. They have been developed to meet the tough demands of the power generation industry.
