Rock Demo Bourgas 2010 – exhibition of machines in their working environment

The country’s first exhibition of quarry, sounding, crushing and screening machines in their working environment took place on 23 and 24 September. The event was hosted by the companies Andezit and Andela, and the co-organizers were Eltrak Bulgaria, Atlas Copco Bulgaria and Powerscreen Bulgaria. On 23 September, in the presence of Dimitar Nikolov, Mayor of Bourgas, the detailed presentations of the companies-importers helped elucidate the specific features and qualities of the products of the world-famous brands of Caterpillar, Atlas Copco Powercrusher, Powerscreen, Tesab and Atlas Copco.
It was on 24 September that, at Gorno Ezerovo quarry – one of the five production sites of Andela company in the region of Bourgas – the capabilities of an impressive arsenal of the said brands were demonstrated in real working conditions: mobile crushing, screening and washing installations, hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, track-type tractors, dumpers, sounding equipment, drilling tools, compressor machinery, electric units, etc. The demonstrations were opened by Konstantin Grebenarov, District Governor of Bourgas region.
Eltrak Bulgaria presented the potentialities of the hydraulic excavators Cat 330 D and Cat 325 DLN, the hammer-type H130S, the track-type tractor D6N XL, the articulated truck Cat 730, the wheel loaders 972H and 962H, the soil compactor CS 56, the mobile jaw crusher Atlas Copco Powercrusher PC 1265J and the mobile rotor-type crusher Atlas Copco Powercrusher PC 1270I.

18 March 2013 The Coldest Journey
The Coldest Journey is the first ever attempt to cross the Antarctic continent during the polar winter. Led by Sir Ranulph Fiennes ‘the world’s greatest living explorer’ (Guinness World Records), the traverse will take place between the two seasonal equinoxes, 21st March – 21st September, with the ice team travelling from Novo to the Ross Sea in the Antarctic winter. During this six month period the expedition team will have travelled 2,000 miles, mostly in complete darkness in temperatures as low as –90°C.

16 January 2013 Caterpillar Unveils First Hybrid Excavator
Caterpillar Inc. unveiled the first model in its new line of hybrid excavators, the Cat 336E H.The machine uses a new hydraulic hybrid technology developed by Caterpillar. The 336E was introduced primarily to meet Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB emissions standards, and like any new Cat machine, it includes several enhancements over its predecessor, including more horsepower with greater fuel efficiency, more lift capability, higher digging force and automatic aftertreatment regeneration.
18 December 2012 Ilia Tzarski – winner in two championships in 2012
Ilia Tsarski, the car racing pilot sponsored by Eltrak Bulgaria, became the 2012 national winner. However, this time he triumphed with two cups – the Track Championship and the Mountain Championship ones. The fastest racing car in Bulgaria – the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9 E-max with which Tsarski won a victory over his competitors – has a motor of 650 h.p., 1000 Nm, OHLINS suspension, AP Racing brake system and a sequential gearbox, which changes gears within 0,026 seconds.
6 December 2012 Fuel Efficient Low Emission Engines Boost Cat Mid-Weight Excavators
Caterpillar is introducing a revised line-up of 20-24 tonne E Series crawler excavators. The Cat® 320E, 323E and the reduced radius 320E RR adopt the EU Stage IIIB Cat C6.6 ACERTTM engine, providing reduced emissions and fuel consumption savings of up to 11%, compared to comparative D Series models while providing fuel savings of 8% and 9% respectively. Operators will appreciate an improved cab environment, with a wider range of seating including heating and cooling options.
