23 May 2010 Bauma 2010 – the sales record-breaking results are for Caterpillar
The ban on air travel and the economic situation were not an obstacle for Bauma – the biggest international fair for construction machinery, to achieve record-breaking results. The number of registered exhibitors were the highest ever – 3,150 from 53 countries, with 555,000 square metres of space. The visitors that attended Bauma were 415,000 from more than 200 countries - only 17 percent fewer than in 2007, having in mind the restricted air traffic.

5 March 2010 Caterpillar improves its E-Series backhoe loaders
Caterpillar has incorporated a number of detail improvements across the full range of E-Series machines to further boost productivity and performance on site and has added a seventh model to its popular backhoe loader line. The latest E-Stick extending dipper has a sliding inner section to improve over-the-side loading stability and simplify hose routing through the boom. Increased bucket breakout forces are available on several models and the E-Stick has revised wear pads with an efficient bolt adjuster system that reduces downtime and allows adjustment with no requirement to disassemble the dipper...
