Pipelayers
CAT Pipelayers are used for the construction of water, gas or oil pipelines. The four models, which Eltrak Bulgaria offers, have lifting capacity from 18 to 91.6 tons. With the exception of 572R II, all the rest of the models are powered by CAT engines with ACERT technology, that meet all EU Strage IIIA regulations and provide power and fuel efficiency. The machines feature one-hand, precise control of steering, direction and gear selection. Pipelayer controls are low effort and allow simultaneous, precise positioning of the hook and boom with one hand. The boom and hook are driven by independent hydraulic winches with variable speeds to provide excellent controllability and precise pipe positioning. The operator can extend the counterweight hydraulically for improved stability when lifting heavy loads and can retract it for clearance when maneuvering.
