Wheel Dozers
Combining the track type tractor’s outstanding performance with the mobility and versatility of the large wheel loaders, the CAT wheel dozers are designed to move large volumes of materials in the tough working conditions of the open pit mines, quarries and large construction sites. All models are powered by CAT engines with ACERT technology, that meet all EU Strage IIIA regulations and provide power and fuel efficiency. With the exception of 824H, all other models are with a STIC control system that integrates the steering and transmission into a single controller, that requires minimum efforts from the operator. The wheel dozers 824H and 834H are equipped with electro-hydraulic blade control that integrates the tilt/tip switch to the joystick for ease of operation. These models are also equipped with the ABP system for automatic blade positioning, that allows the operator to preset the blade position for dozing and reversing at high speeds. With the larger models – 844H and 854H the blade functions – raise, lower, tilt and tip are hydraulically operated by low effort, pilot operated joystick.
