The CAT Ultra High Demolition range includes 5 models with boom height ranging from 18 to 40 meters. Several major features make the CAT Ultra High Demolition models the most reliable machines in demolition applications. The heavy-duty reinforced upper frames of all models are designed to withstand the extreme load conditions of demolition operations and the counterweight is heavier to provide enhanced stability. All Caterpillar booms and sticks have internal baffles which give the structure extra strength and durability and are specifically reinforced in all the potential stress areas. The tool cylinder is equipped with a heavy duty metal cover to prevent it from damage caused by falling concrete and debris. The hydraulically tiltable cab tilts back to further improve upward visibility and to allow the operator to adopt a more comfortable body position. The falling object guard on top and front is standard. The wide range of CAT work tools, like mechanical and hydraulic quick couplers, sorting and demolition grapples, multi-processors with interchangeable jaws for crushing, cutting and pulverizing and demolition shears are specially designed to work effectively with CAT hydraulic excavators and to provide high production in any specific application.
