Small Excavators
CAT small hydraulic excavators of the D-Series are equipped with four-cylinder, electronically controlled CAT ACERT engine, proving effective operation at low fuel consumption. A technical innovation in these models is the system “On-Demand Power Supply” (ODPS), which thanks to the communication between the engine and the hydraulics delivers flow and pressure on demand, but only in the amounts required for the particular loads. This optimizes fuel efficiency because only the required engine horsepower is generated. The tool control system allows for fast and easy configurations with buckets, hammers, pulverizers, grapples, multiprocessors and others.
