The CAT LP Gas Engine Powered Lift Trucks lifting capacities range is from 1.5 to 5.5 tonnes. The combination between the type of mast – simplex, duplex and triplex and the load lift height – from 3 to 7 m is configurable, according to the customers needs. All models from GP15N to GP55N are equipped with the new industrial gas engines - K21LE/K25LE. These engines have high performance, low exhaust emissions and efficient fuel consumption. The GP40-GP50K models use the proven industrial TB45 LPG engine delivering high performance with high torque available at low rpms. The engine size is very compact while a countershaft helps to eliminate noise and vibrations.
The LP Gas engine powered lift trucks with lift capacity from 1.5 to 5.5 tonnes are equipped with a Vehicle Control Modul (VCM) which monitors the key truck functions as well as the safety features. This reduces downtime and service costs. Some lift trucks are available with an engine control module as well (DCM on the engine powered models and ECM on the LPG models). The result is a low emission and quiet engine with reduced fuel consumption. The DCM/ECM enables the truck performance settings – the speed limitation and acceleration control.
