Track-Type Tractors
With a history of more than 100 years of production and continuous improvements, CAT Track Type Tractors have gained the reputation of high technology, rugged and reliable machines, that can develop outstanding performance even in extremely tough working conditions. The Caterpillar K, N and T-Series track type tractors are powered by CAT engines with ACERT technology, that meet all EU Strage IIIA regulations and provide power and fuel efficiency. The K-Series tractors are with hydrostatic drivetrain which automatically maintains engine speed to match the power requirements of the application and can perform “power turns” i.e. turns with power on both tracks for easy and precise steering control. The machines are equipped with SystemOne undercarriage as standard, which has been proven to last 35 percent longer than conventional undercarriages. The D6N model features differencial steering, which maintains power to both tracks while turning and electro-hydraulic controls for precise blade control. The machine can be equipped with a VPAT blade, which gives the operator the ability to hydraulically adjust the blade lift, angle and tilt from the operator’s station. The T-Series models feature the unique elevated sprocket undercarriage, which isolates the drive train components from ground-induced impacts for a longer machine life, electronically controlled heavy-duty power shift transmission and low-effort ergonomic electro-hydraulic dozer and ripper controls. All models can be equipped with the advanced technology AccuGrade System while the models from D6 to D11T are equipped with CAT Product Link as standard.
