Large Loaders
The CAT large wheel loader range includes 5 models, designed to operate as basic productive machines in open pit mines and quarries. Thanks to the short cycle times and high bucket fill factors, they match the CAT off-highway trucks to be used effectively as primary loading systems, providing high productivity at low costs per ton. Wheel loaders have an advantage over excavators due to their ability to quickly move from site-to-site for loading trucks, hoppers and crushers. The CAT 994F is the largest wheel loader in the world with mechanical drive.
